Carved Wood Sculpture – Christ on the Cold Stone – Brabant circa 1600

A carved wood sculpture, Christ on the Cold Stone – Brabant – lower countries, circa 1600.

Made out of walnut, original polychrome and gilt work.

The sculpture is 19,5 cm high, 16 cm wide and  12 cm deep.

Weight is 623 grams.

Overall in a good and original condition, some damages due to its age. Losses to the polychrome.
Right leg has small fire damage probably caused by a candle.
